Be aware that Abuja has run-over your Governor and his Government. Abuja is now in charge. Your Governor is no longer in charge of the Security architecture in the state, and at the moment, he cannot protect you from those sent to oppress and maim you, he has never protected you either. You are both the victims, the complainants and the culprits now.
At this critical moment, be more afraid of the murderous and vindictive Men in uniforms than you have ever been about bandits, armed robbers and Kidnappers.
Amongst every team of Ekelebe whether solo or joint team, there are also thieves, bandits, kidnapers, and members of different local and global confraternities actively operating under the uniform(s).
Whenever you see those men in uniforms (Uwe Ojii or Uwe Ahihia ndu) harassing, brutalizing and dehumanizing innocent Citizens in a social or commercial environment, don’t ever think they are showing bravery and gallantry, they are responding to fear, panic and apprehension. And while at it, many of them are very vigilant scanning around for valuables to steal/loot from members of the public.
The morale of your men in uniforms is very low at this moment, they are emotional rather than rational, they have always betrayed their emotions for lack of tact and professionalism, they are afraid and hence, the need to use public harassment and social unrest to forster fake gallantry and boost of morale.
The unwarranted and unprovoked shootings in our social and commercial environments is a “panic response” to their fear and apprehension. Just as the most fearful ekuke dog barks when faced with a sudden moment of fear, it could even bite the owner at that point.
The same panic response that triggers what they tagged “Accidental Discharge.” You only need a few muscles in the right places and they will shoot you for nothing, provide arms and ammunition from God knows where and tag you a criminal even in death.
That you are mute about it doesn’t mean you don’t know it happens regularly, just that they have taken our voices and muffled it with harassment and profiling.
Any trained uniformed man who derives joy in kicking, beating and harassing unarmed, defenseless and harmless civilians, including mothers and Pregnant women who pose no threats is a coward! A very big Coward with capital “C” who refused to go to Sambisa forest when they were drafted.
They are like those “wife beaters” who beat their wives at home but will never pull out their hands stocked in their pockets when a fellow man jabs them in the streets.
When you have an encounter with most of these men in uniforms, you would prefer the Obosi boys robbing you at Ochanja junction.
They are murderous, very wicked, high on what I don’t know, inconsiderate and lacking empathy. You can’t even avoid them when they want to implicate you because the laws of the land is weak and saturated.
Section 7 and 4 of the Administration of Criminal justice Act 2015 and Administration of Criminal Justice law 2009 respectivel provide that; “No Person Shall Be Arrested in lieu of any other person.”
We see this law swept under the carpet several times and nothing happens. No one takes responsibility and no one is held accountable.
You need to understand that the law is on suspension in Nigeria and the law is what your oppressor says it is and not what the constitution says.
