DISREGARD THE POST MADE AND SHARED THIS EVENING (22, JULY, 2021) ABOUT THE SA TO THE GOVERNOR ON YOUTHS AFFAIRS (PER SÈ) MANDATING NUISS EXECUTIVES TO JOIN NAISS!
National Union of Imo State Students (NUISS) executives visited the SA to the Imo State Governor on Youths affairs Hon. Eric Uwakwe to show respect to his office and seek for his support and encouragement on the NUISS objectives. The meeting went peacefully as the SA and the NUISS executives discussed in a friendly manner🍷
The SA advised the NUISS body not to engage in any act that brings violence to the state or to engage in battle with any other students’ body. He went further to say that he supervised NAISS election yesterday. He wished NUISS and NAISS can make one body. That was the situation of the meeting as NUISS members spoke of “no Monopoly of students UNIONISM/Association”.
In the end, the NUISS body were happy how well the leader Hon Eric spoke and had some photos with him.

NUISS Has been a peaceful body that has existed and has been maintaining the assertion of “no Monopoly of students UNIONISM” which is constitutional.
We are aware that some element that sees NUISS’s creative dispositions had gone to speak all manner of ills about NUISS to the workaholic SA, that NUISS won’t support the Sen. Hope Uzodimma’s government having our excos not to have emerged from nominations of government officials. But we made the SA to understand that NUISS has never been anti-govt.
And NUISS constitution states that the State Governor remains the national grand patron of NUISS and that the decision of the national grand patron is final hence we can’t work against our National grand patron (The Governor Sen Hope Uzodimma).
As far as we are concerned, we can never betray the trust of our over 1.8million members schooling in different schools within Nigeria and in diaspora to accept been cajoled into submitting our active Union to an uncreative, uncoordinated and unprogressive student association as Mediocrity can never be a choice for Imo state students where Performance (NUISS) is an option.
The inauguration of NUISS newly elected official for 8th republic holds 28th July, 2021 and we have invited the SA, Hon. Eric Uwakwe as Guest.
We remain NUISS, the supreme council of Imo state students as Approved by government of Imo state.
Nuiss has not in this dispensation asked the SA to dissolve NAISS.
NUISS has not been mandated to join NAISS by the SA
