Again fear grips Okorocha’s family

… Govt moves to recover West Brook Hotels
…Imo demands publication of Whitepaper

While the former Governor Imo State and senator Representing Imo West in the National Assembly Rochas Okorocha is yet to come to terms with Imo Government over the conversion of his properties to the state government, Imo State government appears to have extended hands of fellowship to his son in-law, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu on same issue
This is even as Imo people have called on the government to make public the white paper which they rely on in converting some of these properties to the state to be able to ascertain reasons behind the conversion of the said properties as well as the properties converted.
Uche Nwosu, the son inlaw to Okorocha was said to have been gripped by fear following the news that his hotel, the West Brook would be converted.

Imo State Government had upon sealing of Okorocha’s wife Royal Palm Estate disclosed that both the sealing of the Apartment as well as the conversion of the Eastern Palm University Ogboko to part of Imo State own Universities followed the recommendation of the panel of Inquiry as contained in the white paper.

Information to this paper revealed that Imo State government has put every measure in place to foremost seal the said West Brook Hotels situate at the New Owerri built by Okorocha’s son-in-law, while in the government as an appointees.

Few weeks ago, Imo was in the news when the former Governor Rochas Okorocha was arrested by the police for unsealing a sealed property of his wife by the Imo State Government.

Before the arrest of Okorocha, one of his son in-laws, Dr. Anwuka, an American trained medical Doctor was shot on the leg while Okorocha’s orderly was also shot at.

Reacting to the incident, Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma revealed that as Governor of Imo State, he is duty bound to serve Imo and in doing so, every converted property of the state into personal use would be re-converted.

Uzodinma further revealed that he had no personal problem, with Okorocha rather out to serve Imo people.
