Imo: Have Hope Uzodinma reconciled with Okorocha, as he appoints Okorocha’s loyalists into cabinet?

Senator Hope Uzodinma appears to be ready to bury the hatchet between himself, and former Governor, Senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha, following the recent appointment of Okorocha’s loyalists into his cabinet.

The appointment was made known, through a press release signed by the state Commissioner for Information, Declan Emelumba, listing the eleven appointments that had been approved by the governor. The list had many Okorocha’s core loyalists as Special Advisers to Uzodinma.

Political analysts believe that Uzodinma, may have decided to extend the olive branch of friendship to Okorocha, following the recent takeover of the Eastern Palm University (EPU) allegedly owned by Okorocha.

Maazi gathered that the Uzodinma, may have extended the hand of friendship to Okorocha, probably to get more support for the ongoing APC membership revalidation and re-registration exercise.

Okorocha’s former commissioner for Commerce and Market Development Lady Joy Mbawuike, made Uzodinma’s list, as did Okorocha’s former commissioner for Tourism, Cyril Okafor as well as Okorocha’s former commissioner for Sports, Robert Ekwebelem among others.
