Those who claim to know Chief Ezekwem’s antecedents told our correspondent that they were not surprised at his decision to dump Uzodimma for Senator Araraume, alleging that what he did is his known trademark having in their word: “Dealt with former Governor Ikedi Ohakim and Rt Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.”

According to them, he defected to the All Progressives Congress, even as Chairman of Imo State Sports Council and State Chairman of PDP, positions that were given to him by Ihedioha, without looking back.
