“You Can’t Ask Looters To Return Looted COVID-19 Palliatives –Reno Omokri Says
Omokri wrote that before governors would give orders for their people to return the looted items, government officials who looted government coffers should also be requested to do the same.

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide of Goodluck Jonathan has stated why Nigerian who looted COVID-19 palliatives around the country should not return the items.
Taking to his official Twitter account on Monday night, Omokri wrote that before governors would give orders for their people to return the looted items, government officials who looted government coffers should also be requested to do the same.
He Wrote:
“You can’t ask those who looted food to return their loot, while not asking the same of those who looted government coffers, and made the masses so poor, to the extent that they have to loot palliatives, that should have been distributed to them in the first place. #EndSARS”
Recall that there have been a series of looting witnessed in multiple states across the nation as residents invaded warehouses storing hoarded COVID-19 palliatives.
In the wake of the lootings, Plateau State Government, on Monday, gave looters 48 hours to return stolen COVID-19 palliatives in their possession or risk being arrested.
The lootings are parts of the events that ensued after the peaceful #EndSARS protests which were interrupted by violence and vandalism.
