Mr Reno Omokri, a former New Media assistant to former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has stated that his problem with the former governor of Lagos State and presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, was not about his ability to manage men and resources, but for that his issue with Tinubu was because of the alleged drug peddling scandal surrounding the National Leader of the APC.

Tinubu who was a two time governor of Lagos State, have been accused of having ties with a drug cartel.

Omokri, who has on several posts on his Twitter handle in the past, accused Tinubu of being a drug lord, admitted that Tinubu could undoubtedly be seen as the best govenror Nigeria has ever had owing to the way he managed Lagos State.

Omokri has been very vocal about his lack of support for Tinubu and have not hidden his preference for the Peoples Democratic Party PDP presidential candidate and former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Omokri have also not spared the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of Labour Party, Dr Peter Obi, in his media attacks.

Omokri’s recent comments where he admitted tha Tinubu was the best govenror of Nigeria, as well as  accusing him of being linked to drugs which he posted on his Twitter handle reads as follows:

“My issue with Tinubu is not capacity based. Look at how he managed men and resources when he governed Lagos. If you are unbiased, you will admit he is Nigeria’s best ever Governor. My grouse with him is character based. Should a KNOWN DRUG LORD be President? NEVER!”

“Bola Tinubu Is Actually The Best Governor Nigeria Ever Produced”

The Tinubu campaign organisation have refused to issue any official response to Omokri’s attacks as has the Peter Obi camp.
